Personal information regarding children under the age of 14

What personal information we collect

Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.

Additionally, when you sign up to become a member, make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we may collect certain information from you, including your name, birth year, billing address, shipping address, type of credit card, last 4 digits of credit card number, order history, IP address, email address, phone number, gender, language, size and product preferences.

How we store your personal information

Containitude will store your information for as long as you continue to be a customer and for as long as we are required by law to access the information to meet our legal requirements globally. Your personal information may be stored outside of Quebec.

If you are no longer a Containitude customer and would like your account information to be anonymized, you can contact our customer service representatives at privacy@bikinivillage.com. However, please note that even after your personal information is anonymized, we have a legal requirement to keep strictly essential personal information that ensures we meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and abuse, or enforce our Terms & Conditions.

Crossjurisdictional transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to and stored in secured locations and on servers controlled by Containitude or its service providers located in various jurisdictions for the same purposes described in “HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION”. If you are a resident of the province of Quebec, please note that your personal information may be transferred to our offices or the offices of our service providers in other Canadian provinces and outside Canada. Where we transfer your personal information across jurisdictions, we will ensure that your personal information is treated securely in accordance with this Policy and the applicable laws. Containitude operates with suppliers and fulfilment centres located across the world. Different countries have different regulations when it comes to personal information. However, Containitude ensures that all its partners and suppliers comply with our data and rights protection standards and that your data is secured through methods approved within the relevant Data Protection laws. Containitude uses the appropriate physical, technical and organizational measures to appropriately secure the personal information received, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, against accidental loss, destruction or damage, by way of negotiating thorough contracts with our technology suppliers, implementing policies, training our employees, protecting our network, keeping technology up to date, applying latest security patches, restricting access to distribution frame rooms and limiting access to data within technology solutions.

However, no method of safeguarding personal information can guarantee absolute security. As much as we follow applicable law and put in place measures to secure your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any of the information that is transmitted to us. The right to access
You have the right to request from us a confirmation as to whether personal information concerning you has been processed and if such personal information has been processed, have access to it and be informed of the corresponding retention period(s). Also, you have the right to request copies of your personal information that we have collected. Containitude may charge a reasonable fee for providing you with copies or transcriptions of your personal information. In such case, we will inform you of the approximate cost prior to providing the information to you. Please note that we use your email as your unique identifier.

The right to rectification
You have the right to request that Our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure
You have the right to request that Our Company anonymise your personal information, under certain conditions. However, please be advised that we may refuse such a request if, for example, we need to conserve the personal information to comply with a legal obligation.
